How Anaelle protects patient data
Patient identifiers are removed inside your clinic before any AI processing, and every item is checked before anything is sent. Anything doubtful is held for you.
De-identified in your clinic
Names, health numbers, dates of birth and other identifiers are stripped on a computer you control. The system is designed to send the AI de-identified text only.
Checked before it is sent
A fail-closed safety check runs before any AI call. If it finds possible identifiers, or cannot be sure, the item is held for a clinician instead of being sent.
Accountable by design
Every decision is recorded in a tamper-evident log that contains no patient information. Designed to align with British Columbia’s PIPA.

Stage 1
Verify, with no patient data
Anaelle is installed and demonstrated end-to-end on a realistic synthetic inbox: labs, imaging, consult letters, discharge summaries and deliberately difficult edge cases. You see exactly how it triages, how it removes identifying information, and how it behaves when uncertain, before any real document is involved.

Stage 2
Live shadow (in preparation)
Once our privacy review, your clinic data-use agreement and our vendor terms are complete, Anaelle begins reading your real inbox with nothing about your workflow changing: you and your team triage exactly as you always have. Anaelle’s suggestions are recorded quietly in the background and compared with your own decisions in a review workbook we go through together. Identifying information is removed inside your practice before any processing.

Stage 3
Assisted live triage
When you are satisfied with the shadow results, Anaelle’s queue goes live. Your team acts on routine, protocol-approved items; anything urgent, uncertain or unusual comes to you. Hard safety rules sit above the AI at all times, and you can step back a stage whenever you choose.
Verification typically takes a day. Shadow testing runs for several weeks. Going live is your decision, not ours.
Anaelle works whether you have a full MOA team or manage your inbox alone, and whole-clinic pilots are welcome too.
